Set up crypto collection

Configure crypto payments

Outcome: Set a public receiving destination for a supported token and network pair.

Add a crypto method

  1. Open Dashboard, choose Selling, and find the form under My Forms. Choose Edit form → BUILD.
  2. In Form Elements → Sections, choose Payment Info to add a Payment Instructions block, or select the existing block on the form canvas. In its properties, choose Payment methods.
  3. Choose + Add payment method, then choose Crypto in the new card's type dropdown. Expand the card if it is collapsed.
  4. Enter Wallet buyers send to. Open Asset & network, choose the token under Accept, and choose the network under Send on.
  5. Set Payment name buyers see, or choose Use suggested when available. In Asset & network, use Show [network] in name if the network should appear in that name. The payment box still shows the network when this toggle is off.
  6. Open Verification to set the transaction-ID and on-chain check options described below. Open Buyer display & instructions for an optional QR image, logo, or buyer note.
  7. Choose Preview, check the payment card, then choose Save changes to make the changes live. Autosave alone keeps a draft.

Collaborators need Payment instructions permission to configure the block. Adding or deleting it also requires Form fields and blocks permission.

The current builder offers USDC, USDT, BTC, SOL, PYUSD, ETH, and a custom token. Its network list offers Bitcoin, Solana, Ethereum, Base, Polygon, and a custom network. A token appearing in the builder does not mean automatic on-chain verification is available for every network or asset pair.

Always show or state the exact network. Sending a supported token on the wrong network can make a payment unrecoverable.

Choose manual or automatic review

Without automatic checking, the buyer's proof and transaction ID remain evidence for seller review. Confirm the network, receiving wallet, asset, amount, and finality in an independent block explorer or wallet before taking any explicit order-status or collection action.

Automatic on-chain checking is currently supported only for these pairs:

  • Solana: USDC, USDT, and PYUSD
  • Ethereum: USDC, USDT, and PYUSD
  • Base: USDC
  • Polygon: USDC

In the form builder, open the crypto card's Verification section. Turning on Run on-chain check after submit also turns on Ask buyer for transaction ID. Turning off the transaction-ID requirement turns automatic checking off. Builder-created automatic methods therefore ask for a chain-native transaction hash; an exchange receipt number or payment-app reference is not a transaction ID. Choose Save changes after changing these options.

The separate saved-method editor is reached through the account menu → Account Settings → Payments → Edit, or + Add saved payment for a new method. It currently allows Run on-chain check after submit and Ask buyer for transaction ID to be set independently. Choose Save Payments before copying the method into a form through Saved payments → Add Selected. If an automatic saved method that does not require a transaction ID is copied into a form, the verifier can scan recent inbound transfers to the saved wallet. Wallet scans require manual review when no unique transfer matches, evidence is too old, or the provider is inconclusive. Requiring a transaction ID gives the clearest one-transfer review path.

Turning off Run on-chain check after submit prevents the automatic check after submission. A seller with order-management access can still choose Verify on-chain from the payment row's Proof actions menu for a manual check; unsupported pairs still need independent review.

Protect the wallet and test the instructions

A receiving wallet address is public payment information and is displayed to buyers. EZFormz does not need to connect to the wallet, hold funds, sign a transaction, or receive a private key. Never place a seed phrase, private key, exchange password, API key, or signing credential in a form, order note, QR image, or support message.

Before publishing, send a small test on the intended network, confirm the displayed wallet and QR resolve to the same destination, and verify that the token/network text is unambiguous. Test and production transfers are real blockchain transactions; network fees and recovery options are controlled by the wallet, exchange, and chain rather than EZFormz.

Automatic checking is evidence, not a custody or settlement service. Every result is informational and changes no edit amount, balance link, refund, P&L, or order status. In the order's Payments section, open the payment row's Proof actions → Verify payment proof, or check its proof-verification checkbox, to record the seller's review. The checked control's tooltip reads Proof verified. If the form's separate Auto-mark order Paid when you verify payment proof setting is enabled, that seller action also moves an order from Received to Paid; the on-chain result never does. See Review crypto payment evidence for every result and next step.
